NO MYSTERY MATH
A job can have several cost overruns. That doesn’t mean its margin gap should be counted several times.
Netluno keeps the headline shortfall separate from the signals that help explain it.

€300 target profit − €250 actual profit. Before overhead and tax. The gap is a review signal, not promised savings.

A FEW THINGS WORTH KNOWING
Owners of 5–50 employee trade contractors, initially M&E / building services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and roofing businesses. You need job revenue and direct cost records to get meaningful results.
Enter one completed job manually, or use a CSV export formatted to the Netluno template. Netluno analyses that data; it does not replace your scheduling, invoicing or accounting system. Direct accounting integrations are not part of this version.
No. Job gross profit is revenue minus recorded direct labour, materials and other costs. It excludes overhead and tax. The dashboard helps you review job performance, not calculate your final business profit.
For each job, Netluno compares actual gross profit with the profit needed at your selected target margin and counts only a positive shortfall. The headline adds those per-job shortfalls once. Labour, material and other diagnostic signals can overlap and are never added together to create that total. A gap is not a guarantee of recoverable profit.
The import validates all rows before saving jobs. An invalid file is rejected so you can correct it, and exact duplicate files are blocked. Upload only new, non-overlapping jobs: revised or reordered historical files are not automatically reconciled.
Yes. The six-question Profit Leak Assessment and its illustrative margin calculator are available without signup. They identify tracking gaps from your answers; actual job analysis requires an account and your job data.
